Our Programs

"LOVE came along during one of the hardest times of my life and stuck by me when I was headed down a path of destruction. LOVE helped me gain the confidence I needed to make change in my life." - LOVE (Ontario) Youth Participant

Core Programs

LOUDER THAN A BOMB poetry festival uses the popular medium of spoken-word to engage hundreds of young people in literacy, oral tradition and performance. Spoken word artists lead in-class curriculum and school teams are formed, culminating in competitive poetry slams city-wide.

MAP: MEDIA ARTS PROGRAM is an ongoing of after school program for youth aged 13-19. Participants use media arts and interactive discussions to express themselves, build emotional well-being, mutual respect, confidence and understanding.

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CAMP unites youth from LOVE’s chapters across Canada in order to hone their leadership skills through an intensive week of professionally developed activities

SCHOOL PROGRAMS LOVE Ontario facilitates customized workshops in school settings, covering topics such as anti-bullying, body image, healthy relationships, racism and mental health.

I just want to say thank you so much for your generosity and commitment to teaching and supporting the kids with their poetry. You created a one of a kind experience for them and inspired them.

The LTAB workshops had a positive impact on the whole school.
